Data protection information & confidentiality declaration

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. The collection, processing (storage, modification, transmission, blocking and deletion) and use of your data is only carried out in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.

§ 1 Collection of personal data

The collection, processing (includes storage, modification, transmission, blocking and deletion) and use of your data is carried out exclusively in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations, in particular the German Telemedia Services Act (TMG), the German Telecommunications Act (TKG) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Personal data is information about the identity of a person, such as name, address, telephone and fax number, date of birth or e-mail address.

When you order our products or services, the following personal data is collected: Your first name, last name, e-mail address and, when using media or communication services (live streaming, video-on-demand, download of video files, etc.), the IP address of your terminal device.

§ 2 Purpose of collection, processing and use

(1) We collect, process and use the personal data you provide to the extent necessary exclusively for the purpose of establishing the contract, drafting and amending the contract, implementing the contract and billing.

If you have provided your telephone number, we will only use it to contact you by telephone in the event that problems arise in the course of payment processing (e.g. in the event of late payment, return debit note, etc.). If you provide us with an e-mail, your e-mail address will only be used for correspondence with you. We will not use it for any other purpose or pass it on to third parties unless you have expressly consented to this. We will only use the IP address for the purposes of providing the services and for billing purposes.

If we commission third parties with the collection, processing and use of data within the framework of order data processing in accordance with § 11 of the Federal Data Protection Act, this will also take place exclusively in compliance with the statutory provisions on data protection.

Any collection, processing or use of personal data beyond these purposes is only permitted if you have given your express consent to this or if a statutory regulation permits or prescribes any other collection, processing or use of the personal data. You can revoke your consent at any time without giving reasons.

(2) Within the scope of various offers, we offer participants of our event, depending on the design of the individual offers, to participate in our events simultaneously by way of a video/telephone conference. We commission the provider Zoom (https://zoom.us/), based in the United States of America, with the technical implementation of this service.

§ 3 Rights of the user

With regard to personal data, you have the rights of access, rectification and cancellation guaranteed by the legal provisions on data protection; these rights are to be exercised by sending a message by post or by electronic mail to the e-mail address mentioned in § 4.

§ 5 Confidentiality agreement

The participant is bound to absolute secrecy.

The participant undertakes to maintain strict confidentiality with regard to confidential information of which he/she becomes aware in the course of his/her participation. "Confidential information" is all information that the participant obtains in the course of his participation in seminars, in triads and personal conversations of other participants. The aforementioned obligation to maintain absolute confidentiality shall continue after the workshop/seminar has ended.

According to § 5 BDSG, the participant is prohibited from collecting, processing, disclosing or making available to third parties or otherwise using personal data without authorization for purposes other than those stipulated in the contract (data secrecy). The data secrecy continues to exist after the end of the workshop/seminar.
